Our Mission

At Season to Gather, we create story-led, Waldorf-inspired resources that help families slow down, gather together, and learn through rhythm, imagination, and meaningful connection.

Founded by Geoffrey and Samantha, Season to Gather grew out of our own family’s desire for fewer screens and richer days—days shaped by stories, seasonal traditions, and time spent creating together.

Everything we make is designed to support families in building simple, lasting rhythms at home—ones that invite children into learning that feels alive, memorable, and deeply human.

 A Family Beginning

Season to Gather began at our own kitchen table, as we searched for resources for our three children—Archie, Gus, and Juniper—that felt both nourishing and joyful.

In 2021, our son Archie attended a public charter Waldorf school near our home, where he and his brother Gus were introduced to a style of learning rooted in storytelling, imagination, and reverence for childhood.

That experience reshaped the way we thought about education. We saw firsthand how stories could carry lessons, values, and meaning in a way that worksheets never could—and how learning, when held with care, becomes something children want to return to again and again.

The Heart of Storytelling

At the center of everything we create is a belief in the power of storytelling.

In the Waldorf tradition, stories are more than entertainment. They are a way of making sense of the world—helping children develop empathy, creativity, and a deep inner life. Stories allow ideas to be felt, not just understood.

Our resources are designed to help families reclaim this tradition, inviting children not only to listen to stories, but to live with them, retell them, and eventually create their own.

Living with the Seasons

Season to Gather also honors the natural rhythm of the year—its seasons, festivals, and moments of pause.

By marking time through seasonal traditions, holidays, and simple rituals, children learn that life moves in cycles. This connection to the natural world helps ground learning in something real and enduring, while fostering a sense of belonging to something larger than themselves.

Our seasonal guides and verse cards are created to be returned to year after year—becoming familiar companions that grow alongside your family.
